Want to take your on-court experience – and that of other women and girls – to the next level? Then why not sign up for one of our upcoming INTO Officiating courses and become an umpire in 2024-2025? 🙋
The INTO Officiating courses are exclusive to England Netball members, aged 13 and above, who are affiliated to a registered club or county netball association. The courses will be released for sale next week from Wednesday 25 September, for delivery between January – March 2025. Here's what to expect:

The Into Officiating Award is the mandatory starting point for all new umpires into the Officiating Pathway. Conducted virtually over two sessions, the course will help you understand the basic rules of the game, as well as cover some of the basics of positioning and movement, building your whistle confidence.
Please note that due to a shortage of umpires in adult leagues, we are currently trialling courses specifically for learners over the age of 18, as well as learners aged 13 – 17 years.

A practical assessment is required for all officiating courses and can be arranged locally by contacting your relevant county officiating lead after you have completed the virtual sessions.

These courses are in high demand, so ahead of launch, have a read through the course booking information to ensure you meet the prerequisites and are ready to go.
You should also check that you know your ENA ID and password and can log into ENgage. Your ENA ID can be found in the top right-hand corner of this email. If you need help, please contact our Customer Experience team in advance of the courses going on sale.
