| England Netball turns 100... TODAY! |
Today, we start to celebrate England Netball’s Centenary.
As a member living through this moment, you have and continue to play a key part in building and shaping our story. We hope that you will join us in championing the progress of all those involved.
From the first AGM, in the YMCA, at Tottenham Court Road, 12 February 1926, where 230 delegates came together to form the organisation England Netball has sought to serve its members and grow the game of Netball, in England and across the world.
Across the coming year, we will deliver a year-long programme of celebration to honour the past and showcase the sport today to help fuel our future as we move into the next century.
Happy 100th Birthday to all our England Netball members.

Starting today, over a century of netball history goes on display, as part of the Centenary celebrations, at Heritage Quay, University of Huddersfield, where the sport’s national archive is held. The exhibition, featuring a selection of the physical objects stored in the Archives, starts to uncover the hidden story of the sport and its pioneers.
Open Monday to Friday as part of a six-month residency, it celebrates netball’s enduring cultural and sporting impact. |
